Edward B. Lee, Jr. received Christ as his Lord and Savior at the young age of "seven years" and has served in the church in different capacities since. On July 2,1989 Reverend Lee was License to preach the Gospel by the St. Rest Baptist Church, of Fresno, California Reverend Chester Riggins Pastor.

Reverend Lee completed all the requirements for ordination as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was ordained on August 8,1993 by the St. Rest Baptist Church and the community. Pastor Chester Riggins over saw the service.

Pastor Lee was called to pastor Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church on July 20,1997 and was installed on November 16,1997 as the third pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
